The Lions finished strong in the final two sets however, securing a 3-2 Sunshine State Conference win.
Lauren Odom of the Lynn University volleyball team has been named the Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. It is the first weekly conference accolade for the freshman and the first of the season for the volleyball program.
