Having already seen five golfers earn Scholar All-America recognition, it should come as no surprise Lynn University's women's golf program was honored as one of the top 25 teams in the nation for team GPA by the Women's Golf Coaches Association. The Fighting Knights boasted the third-best GPA in the country among all NCAA Division II programs.
Five members of Lynn University's women's golf team were selected as All-American Scholars, as announced by the Women's Golf Coaches Association on Tuesday. This marks the seventh consecutive year with at least three All-American Scholar selections for the Fighting Knights, and 13th consecutive year with at least one honoree.
We are pleased to share the student-athletes’ success in the classroom as the Fighting Knights earned a 3.27 department GPA for the semester. An impressive 38 students posted a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring. The Fighting Knights shined in the classroom during the 2017-18 academic year with a department GPA of 3.32, while 210 student-athletes earned a 3.0 GPA or better.
A record 1,301 student-athletes were named to the 2018 Sunshine State Conference Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll, announced Tuesday by Commissioner Ed Pasque. A total of 238 student-athletes carried a perfect 4.00 grade-point average for the semester, including 24 Fighting Knights.

Lynn University was among the top institutions in Division II to collect Google Cloud Academic All-District 5 At-Large recognition, following the announcement by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Thursday.
